The reality

The cracks they slip through.

The license that doesn't match

A driver holds up an ID. The photo is someone else. It passes the glance test — and that's the threat.

The background check no one verified

The paperwork was filed. Nobody confirmed it. Filed is not the same as verified.

The vehicle nobody inspected twice

An expired sticker. An unlogged repair. A van that looks fine from the curb.

The blindspot

When something slips through, the liability doesn't stay with the vendor.

It lands on the district.

The bid was approved. The contracts were signed. But approval isn't protection — and when an incident happens, "we didn't know" is not a defense. It's an admission.

The person asking for records after an incident isn't a state auditor on a schedule. It's a DCF investigator, an attorney, or a parent — and they're asking today, for a specific trip, with a specific child's name on it.

The platform

Every driver. Every vehicle. Every vendor. Live. Always.

One platform replaces the binder, the spreadsheet, and the hope. Credentials, inspections, insurance, background checks and live routes — verified in real time and visible in one place.

Green means go. Red means stop. Nothing in between.

The evidence chain

Not a log file. An evidence chain.

A record is only worth what it can prove. Every verification links to the next — credential to identity, identity to vehicle, vehicle to trip — so a single request produces a complete, time-stamped chain instead of four disconnected systems and a phone call.

Credential verified

License, CORI/SORI, and training status confirmed current before the driver is eligible for the route.

Identity confirmed

Biometric verification at route start ties a specific person to a specific vehicle at a specific time.

Trip recorded

Pre-trip inspection, route, stops, and timestamps captured as they happen — not reconstructed later.

Record sealed

The completed trip becomes a tamper-evident record, exportable the moment someone asks for it.

Face verification · Live tracking

The driver is the driver. Verified, not assumed.

Before a route starts, the driver's face is verified against their credential. Every trip is then recorded — check-in, stops, and completion — so the district has a timestamped record of what happened and when.

No mystery vans. No mystery drivers.

Secured communication

Student information shouldn't live in a personal text thread.

Names, addresses, pickup times, and medical notes routinely move by personal phone because there was never a controlled channel. Inovantics keeps that communication inside a logged, revocable channel the district owns.

Aligned with FERPA, 603 CMR 23.00, and the IDEA records provisions at 34 CFR §§300.610–300.627.

Controlled channels

Driver-to-family contact happens inside the platform — never through personal phone numbers no one can audit.

Instant revocation

When a driver leaves, access to student information ends the same minute. No forgotten group chats.

Access logs

Who viewed which student record, and when, is recorded and reviewable by the district.

Minimum necessary data

Drivers see only what the route requires. Nothing more travels with them.

The relief

"Student dropped off safely at 8:14 AM."

That's the notification. That's the whole product, from a parent's point of view. Now families know who's behind the wheel — and districts have the evidence.

Inovanticsnow

Student dropped off safely at 8:14 AM.

Trust stack

Security you can verify. Not marketing you have to trust.

Inovantics' security program is built and operated with Mostro Cybersecurity & Compliance under a services agreement.

Frameworks and regulations the platform is designed around: FERPA-aligned student data handling · COPPA-aligned data collection architecture · NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 · Massachusetts 603 CMR 23.00 student records · IDEA confidentiality requirements (34 CFR §§300.610–300.627)

These are the standards our controls are mapped to. They are not certifications, and we don't present them as such.
